Mobile portability

The fastest and the best network opens the door to all pre-paid and post paid users who want to become user of one of the world's largest telecommunications company and continue to use their old phone number. 

Number portability service allows you to become a Telenor user and keep your existing prepaid or post-paid phone number with the prefix (067, 068).
A user who wants to transfer its number to Telenor's network may submit transfer request to any Telenor office in Montenegro. Number portability is completely free of charge.
 
Basic conditions for MNP:
 
If you are a private customer:
  • All obligations related to the number which you want to transfer to Telenor   have to be settled with the existing operator (to submit proof of payment for the previous accounting period, issued by the existing operator).
  • All debts for any other number registered on your name in our network to be settled down. 
  • You cannot have contractual obligations with the existing operator or all obligations from the contract on purchase at favourable terms or with service benefit have to be fulfilled.
 
If you are business customer:
  • All obligations related to the number which you want to transfer to Telenor   have to be settled with the existing operator (submit proof of payment for the previous accounting period, issued by the existing operator).
  • You cannot have contractual obligations with the existing operator or all obligations from the contract on purchase at favourable terms or with service benefit have to be fulfilled.
  • You cannot have contractual obligations or contract on business cooperation with the existing operator has to be expired.
 
For prepaid users:
  • Registered number with the existing operator.
  • SIM card and PUK number submitted for review.
  • Once you have submitted the request to transfer the number, you cannot ask for postponement or cancellation of the transfer. New transfer to another network (or return to old) you can ask 3 months after the transfer number.

  • Number portability is a legal requirement for all mobile and fixed operators. Agency for Electronic Communications and Postal Services prescribes the application process;
     
    Telenor does not have influence to deadlines for approval and transmission. Compensation for the remaining amount of prepaid credit and unused traffic in the previous network is not provided. Additional services that are activated by the previous operator cannot be transferred.
     
    The traffic made from the old card till the moment of activation of a new car is to be paid to the previous operator. The user is obliged to pay all obligations for service used till the time of transfer from one network to another. In contrary, Telenor is obliged to initiate the number suspension if obligations are not settled within the prescribed time.
