TELENOR AND PPF GROUP DONATE PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT TO FIGHT CORONAVIRUS
Telenor Montenegro, together with its parent company, the PPF Group, has donated 20,000 N95 protective masks to the National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases.. This, one hundred thousand euro donation represents support to the Montenegrin health system and health professionals who make great efforts every day to combat the coronavirus epidemic.
“Healthcare professionals are on the front line of defense and deserve our deepest respect and appreciation. Recognizing the lack of protective medical equipment, we believe it is our obligation to assist healthcare professionals and the entire community in their efforts to combat the pandemic," said Director of the Telecommunications Sector at PPF Group Ladislav Bartonicek.
Donor packages were delivered to Montenegro earlier today.
“Since the outbreak of the epidemic in Montenegro, Telenor has carried out a series of activities to help society and Montenegrin citizens in this challenging moment - from monetary donations and donations of services and devices, to free access to an online learning platform. This is another of our contributions to achieving the same goal," said General Manager of Telenor Montenegro Branko Mitrovic
Telenor Foundation and employees of the company have previously donated more than 30,000 EUR to the National Coordination Body for Communicable Diseases for the procurement of essential medical equipment in the prevention and treatment of citizens from COVID-19.
